Hello I’m Edwing D’Angelo
I’m a Fashion Designer From New York
Edwing D’Angelo is a Colombian-born New York fashion designer. He comes from a long line of tailors and seamstresses which is where he developed his craft and passion for creating custom garments. His designs have been featured on a variety of national television networks and programs, including CNN, MTV, NBC’s The Today Show, ABC’s Good Morning America, CBS’s Morning News, the Associated Press and MSNBC.
With over 20 years in the fashion industry, D’Angelo has paid his dues as a designer. From his humble beginnings at his first boutique located on 125th Street and Broadway in Harlem under the #1 train station, where he personally built all the furnishings in the store, to his many fashion shows at non conventional venues, to becoming a favorite of fashion and celebrity stylists, Edwing has worked hard and tirelessly to build his brand and the recognition that came with it.
The first of its kind, Designer Edwing D’Angelo’s new atelier, befittingly named @EdwingDAngelo Atelier is now in Harlem. The gorgeous 2000-square-ft Atelier is positioned on the historical corner of Adam Clayton Powell Jr. Blvd and 131st Street. The space features phenomenal, wrap-around storefront windows, showcasing the designer’s fabulous ready-to-wear collections for men and women. The interior design is inspired by an industrial-style open concept studio. Complete with an in-house sample room, a 40-ft runway, and a cocktail bar.
